We recorded the main vocals and guitar plen air, au natural, oot side of Tallowood and captured the lorikeets in flight so we had to roll with it. I chose to use my sons 3/4 size, $50 guitar, a choice little plywood Korean Peerless number from the 60's, ancient strings, a gorgeous neck. The rest of the instruments apart from the harmonies and strings I put on later including the accordion and piano. Safe to say this approach set the tone for further experiments with instruments I don't know how to really play, but I've never really liked things being too shlick. xgx
